Meet Cheri Phillips, PA-C

Cheri Phillips is a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA). A graduate of the Le Moyne College Physician Assistant Program, she began her career January 2007 as a Surgical PA in Santa Monica working in orthopedic spine surgery for The Spine Institute under the leadership of Rick Delamarter, MD. After Cedars-Sinai recruited Dr. Delamarter and The Spine Institute, she became an employee of the hospital in 2010. When Dr. Delamarter left medicine, she worked in many departments for Cedars-Sinai which included Emergency Medicine, wherein she was the department's first PA, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery while continuing to help other Spine surgeons including Dr. Anand. In 2017, she worked with David Fribourg, MD, at Kaiser LAMC and then returned to Cedars-Sinai where she became a PA for Tiffany Perry, MD in the Neurosurgery Department. In July of 2023, she began working with Dr. Anand.

Ms. Phillips currently serves as the first assistant in surgery with Dr. Anand. She manages all aspects of inpatient and outpatient care. She is involved in the evaluation, education, treatment, and management of all patients in the practice. Ms. Phillips is actively involved in continuing medical education and clinical research. She serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator for multiple clinical FDA IDE Trials, post-market, and retrospective studies within the practice. Ms. Phillips also serves as the Fellowship Coordinator for the Comprehensive Minimally Invasive and Outpatient Spine Surgery Fellowship.
