Meet Jennifer Pajounia, PA-C

Jennifer Pajounia is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA and earned her Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health Sciences.

She began her professional career in a high-volume Urgent Care setting, where she practiced with significant autonomy and clinical responsibility. The demands of a fast-paced Urgent Care environment strengthened her ability to manage acuity, triage effectively, and make decisive clinical decisions in high-pressure settings.

During PA school, Jennifer completed more than a dozen clinical rotations across medical and surgical specialties. Her General Surgery rotation in West Covina was especially hands-on and involved complex cases such as double mastectomies and exploratory procedures. This experience solidified her interest in precision-driven surgical care. She also completed rotations in Aesthetic Medicine and volunteered at Saint John’s Health Center in Orthopedics and Oncology, where she collaborated with multidisciplinary teams managing medically and surgically complex patients.

Jennifer now practices in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, where she serves as first assistant in surgery with Dr. Anand. She manages all aspects of inpatient and outpatient care and is involved in the evaluation, education, treatment, and ongoing management of patients across the practice. She brings together her broad clinical training, strong judgment, and meticulous attention to detail. Her experience spans high-acuity, procedural, and surgical care. She believes excellent care is built on preparation, clear communication, and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach that prioritizes both outcomes and the patient experience.
